Apocalypse: The Hunger is a hardcore, minion-free digital card game where every card you play is a move you make. No hiding behind creatures on a board—just you, your gear, and the hustle.

This fully playable demo is designed to give you an unrestricted taste of the neon-soaked grind. There are no time limits and no restrictions on how many runs you can do. You can explore the procedurally generated grid, risk your equipment in the high-stakes Ante System, and upgrade your arsenal at the Tradeskill anvil for as long as you can survive.

We've recently updated the build with a brand-new interactive tutorial, full combat card inspection, and detailed stat tooltips so you can hit the streets running!

DEMO FEATURES & LIMITATIONS: To keep the file size tight and save some surprises for the full release, this demo has a few specific parameters:

• Fully Playable Core Loop: Run the grid, fight, loot, craft, and survive infinitely.

• 3 Unlocked Starter Decks: Choose your combat style with the Enforcer (Heavy Kinetic Impact), the Specialist (Massive Thermal Damage), or the Operative (Biological Attrition). Out of 18 Starter Decks in the Base game.

• Note: Advanced archetype variants, DLC-specific decks, and platinum Achievements are completely disabled in this demo build.

CORE MECHANICS YOU'LL EXPERIENCE:

• The Stack: Fast, impactful combat where you react to enemy attacks in real-time. If they swing, you play a reaction card to counter it.

• The Ante System: High risk, high reward. Before a major showdown, wager your own equipped gear. Win, and claim experimental street tech. Lose, and your wagered card is scraped off the pavement.

• Tradeskills: Your cards are physical gear. Take the loot you find in the city to the anvil and upgrade your loadout into a black-market masterpiece.
