Alpha Genesis is an action roguelite where you guide a cosmic viral organism through a process of continuous evolution, combat, and transcendence.

You control the virus directly: move with WASD, aim and activate abilities with the mouse. Every second requires tactical decisions as you navigate through hordes of immune cells, collect resources, and grow your colony.

CORE GAMEPLAY

• Active Infection - Approach Beta cells to convert them into Alpha. Each Alpha contributes to resource production.

• Constant Combat - 10 enemy types with unique behaviors: explosive kamikazes, Suppressors that block abilities, Beams that charge lethal attacks, Kings that fire bouncing projectiles.

• Battle Phases - Every 30 seconds the rhythm changes: Assault phases with intensified spawning, Respite phases to recover. Adapt your strategy to the cycle.

125 ABILITIES

5 categories of viral powers:

• Virulence - Attack and infection spread

• Metabolism - Resource production and economy

• Structure - Defense and constructions

• Evolution - Enhancements and modifiers

• Synthesis - Orbital fusion and advanced powers

Each category has 5 power tiers. Random unlock system that creates different builds every run. Each ability can be upgraded to level 5 with cumulative effects.

INFINITE ASCENSIONS

When you die, you can choose to ascend. You lose the run's abilities but gain Essence for permanent upgrades.

6 transcendence milestones mark your progress:

• Nascent - The initial awakening

• Awakened - Unlocks T4 abilities, Mastery, Forge slot 4

• Transcended - UR perks, second Mastery branch

• Ascended - T5 abilities, third Mastery branch

• Divine - Legendary perks, divine abilities

• Omega - Viral perfection

After Omega, continue ascending without limits - difficulty scales, rewards increase.

PERMANENT MASTERY

18 nodes distributed across 3 specialization branches:

• Path of Strength - HP, damage, regeneration, lethal aura

• Path of Growth - Biomass, DNA, spawn, recycling

• Path of Evolution - Reduced costs, cooldowns, extra slots

Each branch culminates with an ultimate that transforms gameplay.

FORGE SYSTEM

Equip up to 6 perks with increasing rarity:

Normal, Rare, Super Rare, SSR, Ultra Rare, Legendary

The best perks leave permanent Echoes that influence all future runs.

GALACTIC EXPANSION

10 planets to discover with 4 rarity levels:

• Common - Barren, Oceanic

• Uncommon - Jungle, Volcanic, Frozen

• Rare - Gas Giant, Crystal, Alien

• Legendary - Ringworld, Dyson Sphere

4 expedition types - from nearby systems (5 min) to galactic borders (30 min). Increasing risk, greater rewards. Discover planets, collect Crystals, Energy, Alien Spores.
