ABIDE
About this game
ABIDE is a first-person psychological horror game.
You are staying at the St Boniface retreat situated in the secluded and idyllic countryside. There are mysteries here. Gruesome mysteries. By pushing your luck and venturing out past your curfew you can discover the disturbing horrors within this house and within its residents.

Gameplay
ABIDE has a day/night cycle. The daytime is all about investigation and relationship-building. By day you will be doing a variety of tasks with the unhinged residents of your choosing.
Actions in the daytime will inform what you do in the night time.
Night time is all about horror. At night you can sneak about and go places and do things you shouldn't. During the day the uneasy setting and the odd NPCs create intrigue and tension which evolves into terror as the day turns to night.
Storyline
The retreat in ABIDE has an eccentric cast of criminals, creeps and lost souls. Each character has been identified as having a need for rehabilitation, whatever that might mean... The mystery of the game is discovering the intricacies of the clients and unfolding their dirty laundry.
Art Style
This is the third stop motion game from the Talha & Jack Co studio. They are continuing to push what can be done with stop motion and interactivity. ABIDE has their most detailed and expressive models so far, with magnetised, swappable parts, robust armatures and experiments with new materials.
Each of their dolls are meticulously handcrafted following ball-jointed art doll techniques, expertly painted using modelling acrylics and are truly unique pieces.

ABIDE is a psychological first person horror game using prosthetic gore effects, stop motion and dolls scanned into 3D models. A peaceful retreat where people go to get better. A place for people to air their demons.
