The A Shot in the Dark - Walkthrough & Guide DLC adds interactive walkthrough features to the game and gives the player access to a comprehensive PDF guide of the game. All of the game features added by the DLC can be toggled on and off in the Preferences at any time.

Gallery & In-Game Hints

Mouseover locked gallery items in Memories and Photos to get Gallery Hints. Mouseover the Hints icon to view In-Game Hints for all Content and Story choices.

Choice Highlighting

Choice Highlighting highlights the best choice(s) based on stats. Choice Highlighting may not highlight the "best" choice for Story or Content choices, depending on your goals. In-game Hints and the PDF Guide may help more with making decisions when choices do not have a "right" or "wrong" answer.

Love Interest Priority List

The game will use your Love Interest Priority List to determine which character to show Choice Highlighting for when a choice benefits multiple characters.

This comprehensive PDF guide created by our team member, Hondo, is currently complete through Chapter 4. It has over 75 pages of information about every detail of the game, including the impact of choices and how to access extra content and achievements.
