This is a story about a traumatizing environment, inner conflicts, and the search for one’s place.Past and present intertwine, turning into an internal dialogue in which Artyom must answer not to the world, but to himself—for fear, for guilt, for the choice he made, and for the choice he did not.The plot and setting are based on real events, but their details are intentionally composite. We consciously avoid interpreting or appropriating other people’s specific, personal stories.In terms of genre, the game is inspired by narrative masterpieces such as What Remains of Edith Finch and Firewatch.— Special attention is paid to sound design: radio conversations, distant explosions, footsteps, rustling, creaks, and that overwhelming silence.
